Ms. Charlotte Galloway is a research associate at the USC Arnold School of Public Health with over eight years of experience working with numerous public health initiatives. Her background includes a mix of public and private-sector work in the areas of environmental health, public health preparedness, and community-based projects. Ms. Galloway previously served as the training coordinator with the USC Center for Public Health Preparedness, a CDC-funded project to strengthen the capacity of the public health workforce in South Carolina. In a subsequent role as the evaluation director for the South Carolina Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program, Ms. Galloway supported broad-based integration of community leaders and other invested stakeholders from across the spectrum of first responders, emergency management officials, local and state government, and non-traditional partners. She has continued her preparedness efforts as a leader on projects addressing the importance of community engagement for improved preparedness. As Associate Director of Special Projects, Ms. Galloway is working with SCPHI to coordinate projects and partnerships that promote the sustainability and strategic growth of the Institute.
